Spring

Spring at the Williams house is full of many surprises. The flower beds come to life, the blackflies come out and look what happened to an unsuspecting father when he fell asleep on the deck while the girls were having a pedicure and enjoying the sunshine.

We also got to spend the day with Aunt Colleen and baby Lochlan at the Cobourg beach. It was the first beach day of the season and Lochlan found the sand rather yummy.


On Victoria day we all enjoyed a campfire with Grandma and some of our family. We enjoyed the hot dogs but would have to admit that the sparklers are still a favorite.


Last weekend we competed in an Amazing Race. Our family team came in second. We lost to a team that included cousin Hugh. They broke ahead of us in the race at the roadblock which involved catching a fish in the creek on the Van Oostveen farm. Race was a lot of fun, now to get our American citizenship so we can compete in the Amazing Race with Phil.

Yesterday was June first which means that school is winding down for the year and we will soon be on summer holidays. We are starting the countdown, are you?
