New season

Well, we all made it through last week. Keegan and Calia seem to be adjusting to their new schools and new grades quite well. Keegan is in grade four this year at Bayside. He is in French Immersion and is really enjoying the change. Their teacher speaks to them in French all the time. Keegan says she uses hand signals quite a bit to help them understand. Already he has had one spelling dictation in French. The only thing he has not enjoyed (and neither have I) is getting on the bus at 7:50 am for his 8:10 start. This week Cliff is driving him and he will only take the bus when Cliff has meetings.
Calia has made a smooth transition into grade two. She has her best friend in her class and has a lot of classmates from her JK class. She is in a portable this year and has her own desk and thinks she is sooooo big compared to all those kindergarteners. On Friday she got Student of the Week in the first assembly of the year.
Kira, well she doesn't know what to do with herself. When we were home she kept asking , "WHERE IS DADDY?, followed by"WHERE IS KEEGAN"?, followed by "WHERE IS CALIA?"
(Amy, if Isaiah is bored are you up for a playdate??)

Anyways, just a brief highlight of our first week.
Tonight I put on the chauffeurs hat as Gymnastics and Karate start.

Have a great day and as always there will be more to follow.

Yes, you and Amy will definitely have to get together!!! Do you get a few hours to yourself in the afternoons (does Kira nap)?

Sounds like a great start to the school year. I remember having tea parties with Rebekah when Austen and Rachelle were at school...fond memories!

Karen,
The sounds are the same here, other than a baby in the background....
Isaiah spends his afternoons saying "where hannah? OH at cool" (*school*) He misses her so very much. Crazy since the love to bicker alot too!!
