You've got mail!!!!!

For the past month we have received a lot of mail from Australia. Cliff has got packages of stuff from the Department of Education and Child Development. I have received all the information about the children's schools and our children have received several postcards each about Australia and the Mornington Penninsula. They are quite excited when they get one in the mail.

One of Keegans postcards read:

"Dear Keegan, A baby kangaroo is called a joey. We saw crocodiles in northern Queensland and they live in Northern Territory also. We hear that you would like to try surfing lessons. In Australia boogie boarding is quite popular too and these boogie boards will be here for you to try as well on the waves at Point Leo, Anglesea, Phillips Island and Inverloch......and on so many of our lovely beaches" from Steve and Jill

What a lovely thing for our exchange partners to do for our kids!

How nice, that the kids have been sent these post cards and been included in the prep as well as the excitement!

How exciting! Part of the fun of going away is the anticipation of the adventure. It's almost as much fun to look forward to going as it is to being there.

Sounds like you have great exchange partners.

If I keep reading posts like this - it puts Kevin's dream closer - a trip for our 25th wedding anniversary next year!
