Long Weekend

Traditionally May begins the long weekend season in Canada. This past weekend was Labor Day long weekend here in Victoria. So we decided to celebrate with a road trip. Our destination was the world renown Great Ocean Road that winds along the coast between Melbourne and Adelaide. We stayed for three nights in Apollo Bay and wish we could have stayed for the month. Here is a taste of some of the things we saw and did.

Bells Beach, a world famous surf beach and home of the Rip Curl World Surfing Championships held every Easter weekend since the 1950's, let me tell you the waves were huge!
